  1. Fan of honeydew melon dressed with cherries in a kirsch sauce
  2. Egg & asparagus salad with a saffron mayonnaise
  3. Duck liver paté with tomato chutney & wholemeal toast
  4. Caesar salad with crispy bacon & crunchy croutons

  8. Hot croissant filled with mushrooms in a stilton sauce

Mains

  1. Carvery with all the trimmings
  2. Roast Sussex chicken, bacon, game chips & tarragon gravy
  3. Tender braised lamb shank cooked in a vegetable and tomato sauce
  4. Escalope of turkey with a bacon & Dijon mustard cream sauce
  5. Braised steak cooked in red wine served with roasted vegetables & pease pudding
  6. Poached fillet of salmon presented on a bed of julienne vegetables with a prawn & cognac sauce
  7. Succulent breast of chicken in a creamy white wine sauce finished with celery & walnuts
  8. Braised and minted lamb steak served on a bed of garlic mashed potatoes with a light red wine jus
  9. Roasted loin of pork, glazed apple ring, sage & onion stuffing and finished with a Calvados gravy
  10. Pan-fried fillet of sea bass with braised fennel and a lemon and lime butter sauce.
